Outlaw Photos

The Fort Worth Five
Certainly the most famous photo of Western Bad Men…
and the biggest mistake these outlaws ever made.
An excellent portrait of the The Wild Bunch.
Standing;  [L] Will Carver, [R} Kid Curry (Harvey Logan)
L to R; The Sundance Kid (Harry Longabaugh),
Ben Kilpatrick (The Tall Texan), Butch Cassidy
Photo: U.S. PD 1900 John Swartz’s Swartz View Studio at 705 Main Street in Fort Worth, TX.

Here they are, the bad men and women of the Old West. Bandits, bank, stage and train robbers, hired killers, road agents and some lawmen who ventured on both sides of the law. You wouldn’t think people in these occupations would want a photo of themselves to exist, other than those taken in prison, but apparently they did! Outlaws had families too! Here is a nice selection!  (106 photos)
